CySEC licenses EvestMarkets forex broker

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced it has granted an investment and ancillary services license to the company Evest Limited.

It is based in Limassol and its websites are www.evestmarkets.com and www.evest.eu. Unfortunately, it is still inactive, but from the license we figured it is for a forex broker. The authorization includes reception and transmission of orders in relation to one or more financial instruments and execution of orders on behalf of clients.

CySEC is probably the most preferred European financial regulator and there are plenty of forex brokers under its supervision. On one hand it has less strict requirements than those of UK’s FCA, on the other – Cyprus is an EU member state, which means the companies registered and licensed there can carry out business across the Union under the EU passporting rules.

Earlier this week CySEC announced the granting of license to the forex and CFD broker Exclusive Capital.
